Updates to the Keene Church COVID-19 Position and Plan

Dear Church Family,

As many of you are aware, Governor Abbott announced changes on Tuesday aimed at opening up Texas and rescinding the mask mandate. These changes go into effect on March 10.

We have received a lot of questions from our members asking what the Keene Church plans are. Our current plan is as follows:

  1. Effective March 10, we will begin to resume outdoor small groups.

  2. We will continue to require masks to be worn inside the Keene Church through the month of March and will re-evaluate each month (based on regional COVID-19 data and trends).

  3. We anticipate being able to restart in-person indoor based small groups in April.

The most recent statistics for COVID-19 in Texas, the numbers are rebounding in new cases and, sadly, in deaths from COVID-19. Please be patient as we attempt to navigate the resolution to this pandemic for our vulnerable congregants. Our utmost concern is for your safety and well-being.
