Keene Church COVID-19 Policy (Updated April 1, 2021)

Updated: Apr 2, 2021

I've consolidated all the rules related to our policy at the church into one blog!

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, these are the policies in place for the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church:

  1. Masks must be worn inside the Keene Church at all times for all individuals over 2 years old. (If there are medical reasons for not wearing a mask, we kindly ask you to stay at home and enjoy our worship services online.). Once you are seated and socially distanced between families, you can optionally remove your mask.

  2. No hugs or handshakes.

  3. Masks can be removed for outside events once social distancing is established between families.

  4. Families may sit together but must be socially distanced between other families in all meeting rooms and the sanctuary.

  5. We have occupancy limits for our church. The sanctuary occupancy limit is 350. Other rooms have occupancy limits based on room size.

  6. No meals, food or drinks are allowed to be served.

  7. Tithe envelopes and hymnals have been removed from the sanctuary

  8. Water fountains are unavailable for usage.

  9. We will disinfect the sanctuary and Sabbath School rooms after they are used.

  10. Bathrooms will be disinfected frequently during church services.

  11. If you are feeling unwell, please watch our service online.

Healthy Hygienic policies:

  • Staff and congregants should maintain good hand hygiene, washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use the inside of their elbow. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed.

  • Hand Sanitizer stations are available throughout the church.
