Introducing "Summit" - the new name of our 3rd Service

For the last few months, the staff at the Keene church has been considering the question:

"How should we refer to our 12pm worship service?"

As we’ve looked at the rich history of the Keene Church, our worship service names have changed over the years:

* For many years, the Keene Church has referenced our worship services as 1st Service and 2nd Service.

* When Elevate, our college and young adult worship service, moved into the sanctuary in 2019, we changed our service names to 1st Service, Elevate, and 3rd Service

* When we launched Daybreak in August, our worship service names changed to Daybreak, Elevate, and 3rd Service.

One name doesn't fit!

The recent changes in our service names reflects intentionality in worship design and purpose. They reveal our congregation’s desire to learn and grow in faith as a forever family.

Daybreak evokes an idea of waking up, watching the sun rise, and spending a quiet moment with God.

Elevate evokes an idea of lifting our hearts and voices together in a space where there is always room for one more.

We are pleased to announce that our noon Service will now be called Summit, indicating an idea of reaching a peak Sabbath worship experience together as we look across into the vista of a new week of life and ministry in our community.

Rest assured, the worship style will remain the same for all our worship services.

We look forward to you joining us for any of our worship programs:

Daybreak: 9am at the the Annex Pavilion (or the Sanctuary during inclement weather)

Elevate: 10am in the Sanctuary

Summit: 12pm in the Sanctuary

"The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge."
